Wharton General Management Club
The Wharton General Management Club is a forum for the community of students and alumni who are passionate about business leadership.
It is the primary source of general management talent at The Wharton School for companies seeking high-potential employees. Wharton attracts students who have proven their leadership potential. They seek challenges and pursue opportunities for impact that bring out the best in people. With backgrounds in various industries, such as technology, finance, consulting, and nonprofit, Club members have the skills and the drive to succeed in business leadership roles.
MISSION
- Educate students about general management careers and engage companies in promoting and creating general management roles.
- Serve as platform to connect students with leading companies that offer multi-functional opportunities involving overall business responsibility and strategic issues.
- Maintain a network of students and alumni who share interests in broad responsibility for business, strategic issues, and people management.
- To make the Club the most valuable that it can be for its members and to build and promote Wharton's superior leadership & management development aptitude.
PURPOSE
- To drive general management development within the Wharton community, both externally with employers and internally through leadership development.
